On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India was on the verge of launching the world’s biggest vaccine programme. “The entire country is indebted to all scientists and technicians,” PM Modi said during a video conference address at the National Metrology Conclave.

The National Atomic Timescale and Bhartiya Nirdeshak Dravya were also dedicated to the country by PM Modi, and the foundation stone of the National Environmental Quality Laboratory was laid. Dr Harsh Vardhan, the Union Health Minister, was also present on the day.
In India, PM Modi said, “We don’t want to fill the world with Indian products, but we have to win the hearts of every Indian customer in every corner of the world.” We must ensure that “Made In India” needs both global demand and recognition.
