Exposing Pakistan’s hypocrisy to minorities, when a mob burned and demolished a historic Hindu temple in the Karak district, India called on Islamabad to remain a silent spectator.
India said that in Dec 2020, in the town of Karak in Pakistan, a historic Hindu temple was attacked and set on fire by a mob with overt support and complicity with the law enforcement agencies that accused and accused the Imran Khan government of being a “mute spectators” while the historic temple was being demolished by Muslim fanatics.
During the adoption of the Resolution on Fostering a culture of peace & harmony to safeguard religious sites, India made this declaration at the United Nations.
“In the world of growing terrorism, violent extremism, radicalization and intolerance, religious sites and cultural heritage sites remain vulnerable to terror acts and destruction, India said and recalled shattering of iconic Bamyan Buddha by fundamentalists.
