Prime Minister on New Years’ Eve remembers the Corona Warriors and their efforts in dealing with the Pandemic this year. Along with it, he urged people to take precautions in the upcoming year. The PM attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of AIIMS in Gujarat and, he addressed the event by sending this new year message. He said- “As earlier, I said ‘Dawayi nhi toh dheelayi nhi.’ Now our mantra for the new year should be ‘ Dawayi bhi, Kadai bhi.’

Prime Minister also mentioned – The preparation of vaccine in India is in its last stage and people of the country will be given the doses of it. As the number of Covid cases in the country is decreasing, we are not ready to start the largest vaccination program in India in the upcoming year.- He added. Prime Minister Modi emphasized remembering the Covid warriors on the last day of the year. He mentioned-“The last day of 2020 should be to remember the lakhs of Doctors, Health warriors, Sanitation workers, and other frontline warriors. I also pay tribute to all of them who lost their lives fighting this calamity.”

The year 2020 has taught us well that our health is the real wealth and so we should make a resolution to keep ourselves healthy this year, as Swasth hi Sampada hai- stated our Prime minister today. Talking about health and measures, Modi added – We have begun work on 10 AIIMS in the past six years and, many of them has started operations too. For this New AIIMS, The government allocated 201 Acres of Land and, it is getting built for an estimated cost of Rs. 1195 Crores. Modi ensured that this AIIMS will be the amalgamation of both experience and expertise comprising startups where technology and health solutions will be integrated.
