On Friday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari called on students from Assam to use their expertise and entrepreneurship skills to improve the country’s and the state’s economic growth.

He encouraged them to focus on creativity that will give socio-economic growth an impetus.
The goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to make India a $5 trillion economy and to realize this vision, meritorious students will have to use their expertise as a recognizable force for economic transformation,” said Gadkari, addressing Assam University’s 18th conference.”

Underlining Assam’s immense potential and prospects, Gadkari urged the graduates to use their human capital to improve the economy of the state.
The Minister of Road Transport and Highways urged young people to become entrepreneurs and self-sufficient, noting that the MSME sector contributes roughly 30 percent of the country’s GDP.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal stressed the opportunities developed for the North-East region by enforcing the East Policy Act.
Sonowal also stressed the importance of human capital in capturing the markets of the countries of ASEAN and BBN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal).
