Following the completion of Bachchan Pandey, the Khiladi of Bollywood, along with director Abhishek Sharma and creative producer Chandraprakash Dwivedi, will travel to Ayodhya on March 18 to shoot the film’s muharat shot from Lord Ram’s Janmabhoomi.
Akshay Kumar flew to Ayodhya with his co-stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez to begin filming for his next film, Ram Setu. The trio was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport ahead of their own flight on Thursday.
As they prepared to travel to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot, all three posed for video. In a black shirt and grey trousers, Akshay was his usual cheerful self, posing for the paparazzi in front of a signboard that read, ‘Work in progress, inconvenience is regretted.’
In white, Nushrratt and Jacqueline complemented him. While Nushrat wore a white maxi dress with a bright shrug and silver necklace, Jacqueline wore a white swimsuit to match her.
Last year, Akshay announced the film on Diwali, along with the first poster, which features him as a traveller. “This Deepawali, allow us to endeavour to keep the beliefs of Ram alive within the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by constructing a bridge(setu) that may enter generations to come,” he wrote on the poster. Here is our humble attempt at moving this mammoth process forward – #RamSetu.”
