Finally, Akshay Kumar, who plays the title role in Bachchan Pandey, kickstarted the shooting of the movie. Yes, from January 6, 2021, in Jaisalmer, the Farhad Samji directory went to the ground. Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon are also in the lead roles in the film and some of them are currently in Rajasthan where they will be filming extensively for the widely awaited film.The movie is co-produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) and they shared a photo and a video from mahurat shot.

Jacqueline had said in a statement earlier while talking about Bachchan Pandey, “I will start shooting for Bachchan Pandey in February. With Akshay, you get to learn so much when it comes to acting, comedy and fitness. The film also stars Kriti (Sanon), who is such a cool person. I am happy to have a girlfriend on the sets (laughs!).”
Speaking of the story, in the film, Akshay plays a gangster while Kriti plays a journalist. When the two characters meet and uncover a mutual love for cinema, the twist in the story takes place.
