Farmer’s Update: Attack on farmer leaders

Tractor March

Actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu said that the kisan netas would not know where to hide if he started exposing their “deep secrets,” after being labeled a “traitor” by farmer leaders for attempting to defame their agitation.

Sidhu hit farm leaders for allegedly spreading false propaganda and hate towards him, launching a scathing assault on farmers’ leaders.
The 36-year-old actor-turned-activist is in the middle of a storm because he was among the demonstrators who erected a religious flag on Republic Day atop the Red Fort.

‘Will the RSS or the BJP guy at Red Fort put up a farmer’s flag? ‘
Going live on his Facebook, Sidhu reported that on January 26, on their own, people marched towards the Red Fort from all the borders of Delhi.
Slamming the farm leadership for accusing him of being a BJP and RSS man, he said, “Will RSS or BJP’s man put up the ‘Nishan Sahib’ and a farmer flag at Red Fort? At least think over it”.

“You are so jealous and so arrogant that you do not listen to anyone. Whatever decision is taken must be accepted by all. If I reveal deep secrets, then there will be no way to flee,” said Sidhu and alleged that the government would send people after him to hurt him.

‘When Red Fort gate was broken no farmer leader was present there’
In his video shared on Facebook at 2 am, Sidhu said he reached the Red Fort after its gate was broken and claimed that there was “no farmer leader” present there.

After his images with BJP MP Sunny Deol and Prime Minister Narendra Modi went viral on social media, farmers’ leaders dubbed Sidhu as a government agent.

Sidhu used to be a close assistant of the Gurdaspur MP and stayed with the Bollywood star during the campaign for the 2019 election.

However, once Sidhu joined the farmers’ movement, in December of last year, Deol distanced himself from the activist.
