Days after receiving the coronavirus vaccine, Gujarat Minister Ishwarsinh Patel tested positive for the virus. The COVID-19 infection was discovered in the minister on Tuesday. On March 13, he received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Ishwarsinh wrote on Twitter, “My coronavirus test resulted in a positive result. Currently, I am in good health. As a precaution, I strongly advise anyone who has had contact with me in the last few days to get a coronavirus test.”
On Monday, 890 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus in Gujarat, with 594 people recovering and one Surat resident dead.
The state’s recovery count is 2,69,955, accounting for 96.72 percent of the caseload, while the death toll is 4,425, leaving 4,717 active cases, 56 of which are serious.
On Monday, 1,07,323 people were vaccinated against coronavirus, according to a state government official, including 89,138 seniors and people aged 45 and up with comorbidities.
