On 19 December 2020, via video conferencing, Prime Minister Modi presented the ASSOCHAM Enterprise of the Century Award to Ratan Tata, ahead of his keynote address at the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India- ASSOCHAM Foundation Week 2020.
The prestigious award was won by Ratan Tata on behalf of the Tata Group. PM Modi praised Tata Group for having played a significant role in India’s growth. Although accepting the prize, Ratan Tata recognized that he has been in all the years
Prime Minister Modi acknowledged, after presenting the award to Ratan Tata, that the entire TATA community has worked very hard in improving India’s economy over the last 100 years and has supported the average Indian citizen. The award is an honor for his renowned contributions to the country.
On December 21, at the launch of the Federation of Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce’s International Chapter, Ratan Tata was awarded the ‘Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace’ award in Dubai.
It has been recognized for fostering creativity that promotes peace and sustainability in the region, particularly among the Palestinians. The President of the India-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Raviv Byron, agreed that by contributing to creativity, Ratan Tata has done something for India-Israel relations.
