On his 96th birthday, President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Sadaiv Atal on Friday. Sadaiv Atal, a memorial constructed near Rashtriya Smriti Sthal, was also present, including Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also publish in Parliament a book titled ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Parliament: A Commemorative Volume’ to honor him on his 96th birthday. The novel, published by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, reflects on life and career, including the former Prime Minister’s extraordinary speeches. Few rare photos of the parliamentarian from his public life are also in the book.
The book is expected to be published on December 25 at a ceremony in Parliament’s Central Hall, which is also celebrated as Good Governance Day in honor of the award-winning Bharat Ratna. He also had a meeting with Pt. The 1994 Govind Ballabh Pant Award for Best Parliamentarian.
