A 14-year student of 10th standard of a school in UP’s Bulandsahar district shot dead his classmate out of rage on sharing seats.
The incident that took place in a private school in the Shikarpur area of the district has shocked the nation. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where the doctors declared the casualty dead.
According to the investigating authority, The debate arose over a seat in the classroom on Wednesday. The debate turned out violently when Sunny(The accused) stole his Uncles’ Pistol and shot his classmate dead. The debate was about the exchange of seats in the classroom. Sunny’s uncle is an Army personnel and was back home on leave. After the incident, Sunny has been detained and Pistol has been recovered.
The Police have also found a country-made pistol in his belongings that narrates his seriousness for shooting. Sunny shot the Victim in his abdomen which left him to lose his life. The way this ordinary fight turned out into rage has shaken the entire state leaving the police and the school speechless. Also, The incident raises several questions on the mental wellbeing and emotional state of teenagers in our country.
