PATNA: The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Bihar Election Watch have released a report on 28 ministers of the Bihar government. Under this, majority of the ministers are crorepatis in the report released on the analysis of affidavits of 28 of the 31 ministers of the government.
The average income of 8 ministers is Rs 4:46 crore: The report of the Association for Democratic Reforms and Bihar Election Watch states that 93 percent of Bihar ministers are crorepatis. The average wealth of 28 ministers is Rs 4.46 crore. Among all the ministers, Sanjay Kumar Jha has declared the highest assets worth Rs 22.37 crore. The lowest property minister, Jama Khan, has 30.04 lakh rupees.
Mukesh Sahni’s highest liability: According to the report, 20 ministers of the Bihar government have declared liability. Among them, Minister Mukesh Sahni has declared the highest liability of Rs 1.54 crore.
57 percent of BJP ministers filed criminal cases: According to the ADR report, 64 percent of the state ministers have criminal cases filed. Of these, 50 percent of ministers have serious crime cases. 57% of BJP, 27% of JDU, 100% of Hum, 100% of Vikas Insan Party and 100% of independents have serious criminal cases against them.
Three ministers are not included: The report does not include Minister Ram Sundar Kumar’s affidavit, and Ashok Chaudhary and Janak Ram are not members of the Legislative Council or the Legislative Council.
